OpenStack Dashboard

In first you must Subscribe and after that you can go to the dashboard : https://openstack.cern.ch

Create a Volume

  • Create a new volume (Projet > Volumes > Volumes and click on + CREATE VOLUME)
  • Select the Volume Source : Image
  • In the Use image as source drop-down list, select the operating system you want to use.
  • Set the volume size to 100GB (minimum recommended size)

Create the Virtual Machine

Now you can create the Virtual machine

on the previous page for volume creation, you can select the previously created volume, click on the dropdown menu on the right and click on launch as instance
