Single Sign-On (SSO) Login via Kerberos

CERN SSO in Windows Machines support Kerberos authentication. This allows you to seamlessly access supported web applications without manually entering your username or password, as long as you are logged into your Windows machine with your CERN account.

Also Note: You can only use kerberos inside the CERN network, and therefore not at home, for example.

What to Expect When Logging In

  • Navigate to the SSO-enabled website.
  • Select the Kerberos option on the login page.

  • Proceed to other steps, including MFA if enabled

Troubleshooting

  • Ensure you are logged in with your CERN domain account.
  • Check that your machine is joined to the domain.
  • Check if Kerberos has been configured for your browser.
