Upgrading Windows
For upgrading to a newer Windows version, two options are available:
Upgrading via CMF
Packages in CMF are made available for this purpose, with names similar to: - MS Windows 10 - Upgrade b22H2 FROM ANY BUILD (NICE) - MS Windows 11 23H2 - Upgrade from W10 > b2004 (NICE) - etc.
For centrally-managed devices, these packages can be applied to your computer by right-clicking the CMF icon and choosing the Add/Remove Programs CMF Packages option. A new page will open, where you can search for the desired Windows version. To perform the upgrade, please tick the checkbox next to it and click on Save, after which a popup from CMF will appear in about a minute on your computer suggesting you to install the package. To do so, click the pop-up and choose Install now.
For locally-managed devices, administrators of the locally-managed NSC can add the relevant packages from the NICE NSS. For more information, please check the CMF Administrators Guide.
Upgrading via Windows
The version upgrades are also proposed automatically by the operating system for both centrally-managed and locally-managed devices.
